Going to Hawaii!

I went to Kona to check it out...and this is what happened...

God said to go...He said to visit the Fire and Fragrance School. It's all about combining prayer with missions. That class was so encouraging and just what I needed to hear!

Now as I was there I felt like God said He wanted me to staff DTS in Kona for sure. I just wasn't sure when? After talking to the office they said I could staff a school in September probably. Well I didn't think that was even an option because it was so soon! Then I was talking to Beau my South African friend and he was telling me about the Community Transformation DTS that Jeff and Bethany (who staffed our DTS) are leading. Well...I decided I should talk to Jeff....

I had really been leaning towards the Fire and Fragrance DTS because it has a huge focus on spending time with God in prayer and worship then out of that closeness you go out and show people God's love. Sweet! so...God told me whatever school I staff it needed to be like it's a Fire and Fragrance DTS...I needed to live like that.

So after talking to Jeff, who said his school is like a sister school to Fire and Fragrance! You get close to God and out of that go do outreach, and live in loving, honest community...Also that they are about transforming communities, they are looking to see transformational not transactional change, so they are going back to the same places each year! I could have done a cartwheel! Everything he said they are doing, I was like, that's what I want to do. But then I figured, nah I can't just do a school because I want to, I want to do whatever school God tells me...

so I went and asked God...

He was like do it, staff this DTS, you think it's your idea, but it's not, it's my idea, I put it in your heart!

well ok! I applied and got accepted and they confirmed they felt like it was from God and that's really exciting!

I can't believe I am staffing DTS in Hawaii in September!!!... Fall is my favorite quarter...
It's going to be a crazy amazing school, God said this next season is like a waterfall!

I bought cute paper for encouragement cards... oh boy!

God said this is a time of flying with Him...maybe I'm jumping off the waterfall? It's ok we can fly!

I also had a great time with God getting refreshed and with Tiffany exploring Hawaii being all touristy, and seeing a whole lot of my friends from my DTS outreach team, how cool is that! What a great outreach team! yeah Vanuatu!
